Today i attended class RUS101 at blok E48B which was started at 9:00am. Actually i felt quite nervous and full of curiousity since this is the first class after the orientation week.
Firstly, I get to know my lecture, also as a studio coordinator, En. Wan Burhanuddin Wan Abidin, and also other lecture at that time. From my view, En Wan B. is a humorous man because he can make the class laugh anytime and the most important thing is....i din't fall asleep at all !
RUS101 actors are united by student, studiomaster, usm community, penangites et al.
At the starting of the class, En Wan B. highlighten the meaning of status APEX-ACCELERATED PROGRAM OF EXCELLENT. Each of the student study in APEX University is undergo an evolution of transformation from time to time. En Wan B. show us the flow chart the process in transformation in APEX University. For examples: from GOOD, should advanced to BETTER and finally to BEST !!
En. Wan B. also takes notes at 6 impportant element of PRODUCTION, that is intention, actor, act, rules, product and place.This is the tools must possessed by student in studying and others. As I understand so far, the product that produce in USM is the academic and others form of achievement, and also the student that can make contribution to the society in the future. Intention is a starting point which is significant part to begin the procedure of production. It is brought by the actors which is among the APEX student community. For example, as a APEX student, we act as an actor should have intention to acquire knowledge. Take action according to the rules. So that the product can be invent and it must located at a place no matter where is it.
3P- people, place, principle. This theme was also empowered to the student RUS101.
At the end of the class, something funny names i saw from the screen in front. Now I am still can laugh when it appear in my mind. eg. Lessie Tong is the dustbin in mandarin, Elsie Liaw is 'going to die' in Hokkien and others amusing names.
This is all the thing that i heard in the class.
